This is just one of many insightful statements made in A Year for the Record Books, a publication we designed for Clean Energy Canada. Released in time for the GLOBE 2016 conference in Vancouver, the piece is chalk-full of telling photography, bold typography and colourful graphics to help show how the renewables industry is growing by leaps and bounds across the world.

Our job was to interpret the information in an accessible, compelling way, so making this a highly visual piece was a key goal. Clean Energy Canada has a well defined brand, so we made sure that we did this while using their brand elements – such as their colour palette and the Franklin Gothic typeface.

This report is part of an ongoing series called “Tracking the Energy Revolution”. We came up with an icon to be used on pieces that are part of this series.
