Press Forward is ensuring people in Canada have strong, independent and community-focused journalism. Their mandate is to “unify, elevate and advocate for independent media organizations and work to strengthen innovation, inclusivity and diversity in media across the country”.
It goes without saying that we wanted the visual identity for this organization to go beyond tradition, or “establishment”. Using forward-leaning angles strategically positioned to interact with typography and blocks of colour, we created a fresh, transformative feeling.
When it came to applying the visual identity to the Press Forward website, we aimed to balance the bold aspects of the identity with an easy, intuitive experience for users.
