Radio Mysterio

You don’t know where you’ll be or what you’ll be doing when it breaks out onto the airwaves. That’s because La Radio Mysterio is a “pop-up” radio show: its airtime is random, it features surprise guest hosts and is recorded at different locations each time. Expect the unexpected with this new show airing on CJSW 90.9 FM in Calgary.

Here is the logo we created for Radio Mysterio.

We wanted it to exude an overwrought elegance – to suggest that something is hiding behind a surface appearance that is a little too dashing, a little too put on. Like a carnival barker with top hat and bow tie, enticing you into a hall of mirrors. The moustache is a personal throwback for Ramin Eshraghi-Yazdi—the show’s host—to a previous radio show called El Mustachio Mysterio.

Our poster and Tumblr blog customization are pictured here, using images that, much like the radio show, express the mystery in seemingly random and ordinary things.
