Freelancer Opportunity: Brand Strategist

GOOD Company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Brand Strategist: a visionary leader with exceptional research and facilitation skills, capable of driving brand success for our clients. 

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in brand strategy, a deep understanding of market dynamics, and the ability to translate insights into impactful brand narratives.

 

You will be engaging with our clients and their stakeholders, conducting workshops and interviews as well as performing desktop research as you develop brand strategies. You will help our clients identify market opportunities, and create compelling brand narratives that resonate. You will work closely with our designers and writer to give them a strong foundation upon which to create brand messaging and visual identities. 

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

 

  • Develop and oversee the execution of comprehensive brand strategies.
  • Drive innovation and thought leadership within the brand strategy domain.


Research & Insights:

 

  • Conduct and supervise in-depth market research, including consumer behaviour analysis, competitive benchmarking, and trend forecasting.
  • Synthesize research findings into actionable insights that inform brand strategies and creative direction.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments and emerging trends to keep strategies relevant and forward-thinking.

 

Client Collaboration:

 

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients for research and strategy needs, fostering strong relationships and ensuring a deep understanding of their brand challenges and objectives.
  • Facilitate workshops, presentations, and strategic discussions with clients to align on brand vision and strategic direction.
  • Provide strategic counsel and recommendations that drive brand growth and differentiation.

 

Facilitation & Communication:

 

  • Design and facilitate engaging workshops and brainstorming sessions to gather stakeholder input and generate innovative ideas.
  • Clearly articulate complex brand concepts and strategies to clients and internal client's teams, ensuring buy-in and understanding.
  • Develop compelling presentations and reports that effectively communicate strategic recommendations and results.

 

Collaboration & Integration:

 

  • Work closely with creative, digital, and account teams to ensure cohesive and integrated brand strategies.
  • Collaborate with external partners and vendors as needed to support brand initiatives and research efforts.
  • Ensure all brand strategies align with the overarching goals and values of both the client and the agency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in market research methodologies, data analysis, and consumer insights.
  • Exceptional facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
