We asked you to tell us about the good you do and how we can help. Truly, we were inspired by the ideas we’ve learned about through this initiative, and many applicants were deserving of the award of $1,000 in free design.

But, we had to choose just one recipient. As such, we are pleased to announce that it is SEA Change Nation.

SEA Change Nation believes youth are the key to discovering the solutions to complex societal challenges. Combining their passion and skill in business and social work, Tammy Maloney and Jennifer Benoit hatched the idea for a social enterprise that is one part academy, one part accelerator and one part alliance – uniquely designed to transform youth into social entrepreneurs. It is an innovative training program where youth learn to become social entrepreneurs; an incubator that accelerates the launch of youth-powered social enterprises and finally an alliance of social enterprises that share knowledge and resources. Tammy and Jennifer envision a model that has compassion at its core, where disadvantaged youth can be afforded the same opportunity as those not at-risk.

We will be creating a logo and brand for SEA Change Nation. Stay tuned for the results.
